Price dropped after you bought it?

It happens to everyone: you buy something, and a week later it’s cheaper. Brassic keeps watching what you bought for 14, 21 or 30 days, and if the price falls below what you paid, we tell you what you can do about it, with the message already written.

How it works

  1. Paste your order confirmation into Brassic, or add the product link, what you paid and the date.
  2. We keep checking the price every few hours for the next 14, 21 or 30 days.
  3. If it drops by at least £1 and 1% below what you paid, we double-check the page, then send you an alert.
  4. Follow the steps: ask the shop for the difference, or return and rebuy where its policy allows. We write the message for you.

Your options in the UK

There’s no general legal right to a refund of the difference when a price drops. But you often have options:

Why most trackers miss this

Most price trackers stop the moment you buy. That’s exactly when a drop is most annoying, and most worth acting on. Brassic watches after you buy so you can still do something about it.

Questions

Can I get a refund if the price drops after I buy?

Not automatically by law, but many shops will refund the difference if they have a price promise or as goodwill, and online orders usually have a 14-day right to cancel so you can return and rebuy.

How long does Brassic watch after I buy?

You choose 14, 21 or 30 days. 14 days is the default.

Is it included in the free plan?

Yes. The free Skint plan watches 1 purchase at a time. Savvy and Sorted watch up to 20.
